Nicola Jane Wear Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2016

Today is #wearitpink day and the Nicola Jane Team are getting involved in all things pink!
October is now widely recognised as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a month which retailers, businesses and charities all join together with one aim: to increase awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, as well as taking part in various fundraising events for breast cancer charities.
As providers of specialist swimwear and lingerie for ladies who have had surgery due to breast cancer, the Nicola Jane Team often speak to customers who have been or are currently going through a breast cancer diagnosis, treatment or recovery. Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the charities which help people going through a cancer diagnosis is a cause which is very close to our hearts.

The Nicola Jane Head Office Team always ensure that we take part in a very worthy fundraising event for the month of October and this year we chose to support Breast Cancer Now with ‘#wearitpink’. Today our team turned up to the office in pink, with handfuls of pink-themed goodies, we had homemade cakes, donuts, biscuits and jelly as well as the healthier options of melon, raspberries and strawberries, the team had every pink-themed food item covered! The team also got involved with a little 'friendly' competition with the Breast Cancer Now Pink Quiz.
