Mastectomy Swimwear Guide
Whether you are a serial sunbather or a serious swimmer, finding the right swimsuit is essential after breast surgery. We have designed a range of mastectomy swimwear to suit your every need; each swimsuit has been cleverly designed with a higher neckline and underarms, as well as discreet pockets to hold your prosthesis safely and securely.
- Higher neckline and underarms to ensure good coverage for total confidence
- Fitted pockets to hold your prosthesis securely and discreetly
- Elasticated under band to keep the bust section securely in place
- Modest leg height
In order to help you understand the types of mastectomy swimwear and styles in the Nicola Jane collection, we have put together a guide to our mastectomy swimwear which will hopefully help you with your selection.
All Nicola Jane swimsuits are pocketed to hold your prosthesis securely. The pocket features a soft foam cup which will disguise your prosthesis and any nipple difference.

How to care for your swimsuit
Proper care of your swimsuit will ensure longer wear and support. It is wise to follow the directions provided by the care label. Always rinse out your swimsuit as soon as possible in fresh water and give it a good wash in a very mild detergent when you get home. Never leave your swimsuit for too long without rinsing as chlorine is like bleach and will affect the colours and elasticity of your suit.
